Understanding your degree
The Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management is designed to equip students with comprehensive knowledge and skills in airline operations, airport management, aviation safety, and logistics. This program blends theoretical foundations with practical applications, preparing graduates for leadership roles in the global aviation industry. Students will gain insights into aviation regulations, financial management, human resource strategies, and emerging trends in aviation technology.

Admission requirements
- Applicants to the degree programme must have successfully completed, and must have normally achieved a high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Proficiency in mathematics and physics (preferred).
- Applicants who have completed a Higher National Diploma (HND) or an equivalent qualification with at least 240 credits (RQF Level 4/5) in Aviation Management or a related field may be eligible for direct entry into Stage 3 of the BSc (Top-up) in Aviation Management under the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Policy. They can apply for exemptions from Stages 1 and 2 and must provide all supporting documents at the time of application.
Course Structure Overview
The BSc in Aviation Management program consists of 180 credits, divided into core courses, elective courses, and a final-year project report. Each subject is worth 6 credits, while the capstone project report accounts for 18 credits. The course structure is as follows:

Commitment Required of Students
Dedicate approximately 15-20 hours per week to coursework, including readings, assignments, and discussions.

- A personal statement of approximately 350 – 400 The personal statement should focus on the applicant’s interest in Aviation Management, how they expect the programme will impact on their career and how they plan to balance their work, life and study commitments.
- Copies of O/A Level certificate (or equivalent) certificate diploma or degree parchments, as well as transcripts of associated
- Applicants whose first language is not English must submit the original certificate of completion of an English
